Supporters of his work never stopped loving it, though as a collection in his own name gained much success which brought him to produce another in the name Marc by Marc Jacobs which also includes the distinct Marc Jacobs handbags. Today, Marc Jacobs is the creative director of Louis Vuitton.

In 2000, Jacobs brought out his first Marc Jacobs handbag collection.
